The Talbot. An unconventional wedding venue – often bypassed on the radar of most couples but the Talbot certainly has charm. Buckets of it. I am one of the recommended suppliers at the Talbot in Ripley and it’s always a pleasure to shoot weddings here.

Although the grounds are lacking in terms of portraiture spots – you can whizz down the road to Wisley common which is only a 3-minute drive or they have a small patch of woodlands through the back gate in the car park. The Talbot has many charming features including old beams, a beautiful courtyard and really fantastic food.

Maria & Gary had their day on Halloween and Maria was the perfect autumn bride. She looked like a goddess. Adorned with Folky Dolky flowers and her auburn hair was a match made in heaven. The Folky Dolky flowers were one of the best-dried flower bouquets I’ve ever seen.

The Talbot offers a different kind of venue for your wedding – it’s more relaxed, has plenty of space for your guests to mingle whether that’s in the bar or courtyard – if you’re after an anti bride venue – this is it. Congratulations to Maria & Gary and I hope to be back at the Talbot soon.
