The 30th June 2018, one of the hottest days of the year. Hayley & Steve had their beautiful rustic wedding at Stratton Court Barn in Oxfordshire.
The most beautiful part of Stratton Court Barn has to be the gorgeous courtyard. It gives a feel of being in Italy, with olive trees and bare concrete. It’s so pretty and is the perfect canvas for you to make it your own.
Things I loved most about this wedding were Hayley & Steve – as they are the most kind, and thoughtful pair I’ve ever met. I was looked after from the moment I stepped into bridal preparation till I left after their sunset shoot. This was the perfect wedding to demonstrate my two portrait session ideal. We had a ride around in their gorgeous vintage car and then at about 8.00pm, we went out to catch the last rays of the summer sun.
The other thing that sticks out in my mind was their confetti. Handmade by the mother of the bride it was some of the most beautiful confetti I’ve ever seen. There was loads of it too, so I incorporated it into their second shoot which worked really well.
Congratulations Hayley & Steve! I hope you have a wonderful life together. Thank you for inviting me to play a small part in your love story.
