Gemma got in touch after we at a wedding fair where she was modelling some of Bride by Aster’s wedding dresses. Little did I know she was on the hunt for her own wedding photographer. Gemma and Chris were getting married at the Abbey of San Galgano in Tuscany.
I was delighted when she decided I was the right photographer to bring over to Tuscany. The Abbey of San Galgano is simply breathtaking. Not to mention, when the sun starts to set, the sun streaks through the old empty windows. This created light patterns that I can only dream of in the UK.
Their day was plagued with the oncoming thunderstorms, but they held out until the end of their wedding. We could see the lightning over the Tuscan hills during the speeches – which I managed to capture by some miracle.
